1. Overview & Commitment

Vouch AI Inc. ("Vouch AI", "we", "us", "our") operates the Vouch AI iOS application and website. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, store, and protect information when you use our services. By using Vouch AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide medication scheduling, adherence tracking, and automated caregiver SMS escalation:

• Account Information: Your name and email address provided during account creation or sign-in.
• Medication Data: Prescription names, dosage amounts, scheduled intake times, dose priority tags (e.g. CRITICAL), and historical adherence/streak records.
• Third-Party Family Contact Data (Caregiver Information): The name and cellular phone number of designated family members or caregivers, entered manually by you. You interact with an explicit Caregiver SMS Consent toggle in-app before saving any contact.
• Device & Usage Data: APNs push notification tokens, device hardware model, iOS version, crash diagnostic logs, and basic app performance analytics.
• Payment Data: Subscription billing is managed entirely by Apple via the App Store and RevenueCat. Vouch AI does not collect, store, or process your credit card numbers or financial banking details.

3. How Information Is Used

We use your information exclusively for the following specific operational purposes — never for vague or unstated secondary uses:

• Triggering local iOS ringing alarms and push notification reminders at your scheduled dose times.
• Sending automated SMS text escalation alerts to your designated family contact when 3 consecutive alarms go unconfirmed.
• Generating adherence summary analytics and downloadable PDF compliance logs for your physician.
• Maintaining software stability, fixing crash bugs, and providing customer support.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Sharing

We share data only with trusted infrastructure vendors who perform essential technical services on our behalf:

• SMS Telephony Providers (e.g. Twilio / SMS Gateways): Recipient phone numbers and alert message text are transmitted solely to deliver emergency escalation SMS text messages.
• Cloud Database Hosts (e.g. Supabase Postgres): Encrypted database infrastructure featuring Row Level Security (RLS), SSL/TLS 1.3 in transit, and AES-256 encryption at rest.
• Payment Processors (Apple Inc. / RevenueCat): Processing auto-renewable subscription billing and 3-day free trial conversions.
• Mobile Crash Analytics Providers: Anonymized crash telemetry to identify software bugs.

5. SMS-Specific Disclosure (CTIA / TCPA Compliance)

In compliance with US Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) standards:

• Message Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS text alerts received by your designated family contact according to their mobile carrier plan.
• Message Frequency: SMS messages are sent only when a scheduled medication dose remains unconfirmed after 3 consecutive retry alarms (up to a maximum of 3 alert texts per day per contact).
• Opt-Out Instructions: Designated family contacts may opt out of receiving automated SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to any SMS alert received, or by having the account holder remove their contact entry inside the app under Settings > Safety Net Contacts. 6. User Privacy Rights (CCPA & GDPR Compliance)

Regardless of your geographic location, you possess full ownership and control over your personal data:

• Access & Correction: You can view, edit, or update your account details, medication schedules, and family contact details anytime in the app settings.
• California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA): California residents have the right to request disclosure of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sharing. We do NOT sell or share your personal information.
• European Union Rights (GDPR): EU/UK residents possess rights to access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, and data portability.
• Data Deletion & Account Erasure: You can permanently wipe your account and all associated cloud records instantly by selecting Settings > Delete Account & Erase All Data in the app, or by emailing our privacy team at vouchai@hotmail.com.

7. Health Data Statement (HIPAA Status)

Explicit Legal Disclosure: Vouch AI is a direct-to-consumer mobile software utility provided directly to end users. Vouch AI Inc. is NOT a "Covered Entity" or "Business Associate" under the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and HIPAA regulations do not apply to your consumer use of the application. However, because medication data reads as sensitive to users, we voluntarily fortify all stored data using bank-grade AES-256 encryption at rest and hardware-backed iOS Keychain security.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Vouch AI is not directed to children under the age of 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. 9. Data Security & International Transfers

We implement technical and organizational safeguards including TLS 1.3 transport security, AES-256 database encryption, and iOS Keychain credential isolation. Information collected may be stored and processed in encrypted servers located in the United States. By using Vouch AI, you consent to the transfer of data to the United States.

10. Policy Changes & Contact Information
